Moulton, AL (WAFF) - According to Sheriff Gene Mitchell, crime was a family affair for one clan in Lawrence County.

47 year old Michael Allen, along with his wife 44 year old Greta Allen, and their son 19 year old Toddrick Allen, are all being held on drug charges. Investigators say the trio was caught in an undercover drug operation where agents bought marijuana.

The investigation began after deputies got tips about suspicious activity at the family's home on County Road 268 in Town Creek. In addition to drugs, numerous guns were removed from the home. Police believe many of those weapons were stolen, but they're still in the process of identifying where they all came from.

Bond has not yet been set, and additional charges may be coming as the gun investigation continues.
