LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- Lawrence County is now the 46th county in Alabama to adopt the Yellow Dot program.

The system helps first responders when someone has an accident and is unresponsive or confused.

Participants place a Yellow Dot sticker on their vehicle and keep their medical history in the glove compartment. The program is free of charge.

There are three locations to sign up: Moulton City Hall (720 Seminary Street in Moulton), the Town Creek Library (15971 Main Street in Town Creek), and the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency building (555 Walnut Street in Moulton).
