Law. Co. deputies bust marijuana operation | Crime
Moulton, AL (WAFF) - A man from Decatur is being held without bond in the Lawrence County Jail, following an undercover drug operation in the Hatton community.
Alex Kelsy Speake was arrested and charged with drug distribution. Sheriff Gene Mitchell says Speake was indicted by a grand jury after undercover agents bought hydroponic marijuana from him.
Mitchell says his drug agents began looking into Speake after getting several tips from concerned people in the Hatton area. Speake is also being held on a probation violation from a previous conviction.
