Woman accused of selling ADHD drugs to undercover deputies | Crime
Moulton, AL (WAFF) - An undercover sting operation in Lawrence County ended with a 34 year old woman's arrest.
According to Sheriff Gene Mitchell, Testa Ann Cross of Courtland was selling her child's prescription medication called Vyvanse to supplement her income. Vyvanse is primarily used as an alternative to Adderal to treat ADHD in children.
Sheriff Mitchell said the medication that Cross sold to the undercover agent was paid for by taxpayer's through the Medicare system and that agents were going to be contacting state medicare and turn over this investigation for possible Medicare fraud.
