4 people arrested in drug bust | Crime

Four people were arrested charged with multiple drug charges in Lawrence County.

Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said that DTF Agents arrested Jeffrey Gerard Billings, Jerrod Gerald Billings, Richard Shoulders and Tamera Lechele Allen after executing a search warrant at a residence located at 3011 CR 314 in the Red Bank Community. 

Officials said during the investigation agents learned that the Billings’, who reside at the residence, were involved in the illegal sale of cocaine. Mitchell said that when agents and deputies executed the search warrant, they discovered several bags of cocaine and marijuana, which had been prepackaged for resale.  Agents also discovered numerous items of drug paraphernalia used to package narcotics for resale, as well as several items used to consume narcotics.  

Mitchell said that the cocaine seized has a street value of over $1,200. Agents and deputies also located several firearms concealed in the home.

Mitchell said included in the firearms was an illegal sawed off shotgun. All four were booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
